Warranty policy

 All Toreto  products come with a performance warranty that covers any defects from the original purchase date. If a product turns out to be faulty due to material or workmanship during the warranty period, Toreto will repair or replace the product at its sole discretion. However, if the product malfunctions due to third-party software installed by the customer or other reasons, no warranty is provided.

Each Toreto product has a specific warranty period that can be found on the product page under "specifications." The warranty allows the purchaser to have the product repaired or replaced under certain conditions:


During the warranty period, Toreto will replace defective parts or products with new or serviceable ones free of charge. However, the company's responsibility is limited to repairing or replacing defective parts or products during the warranty period. Toreto is not responsible for any direct, incidental, consequential, or other damages of any kind. If any service is availed of on a chargeable basis or for an out-of-warranty product, the charges must be paid in advance at the Toreto Care Centre. Please contact customer care for repair costs. To avail of the warranty service, the original proof of purchase must be provided.


The following are not covered under the warranty:

  1. Any physical damage.
  2. Damages, deterioration, or malfunction resulting from
  3. Unauthorized repair attempts by anyone not authorized by Toreto.
  4. Removal or defacing of the product's serial numbers or warranty seal.
  5. Use of the product within an improper or inappropriate operating environment.
  6. Damage or loss of any programs, data, or removable storage media.
  7. Normal wear and tear.
  8. Software or data loss during repair or replacement or during usage of the product.
  9. Failure of the owner to perform periodic product maintenance as stated in the User Guide / Quick Start Guide.
  10.  Accessories external to the system.
  11.  Claims for missing software or accessories not reported within three working days after purchase.
  12.  Accidents, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature, unauthorized product modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.

Replacement Policy

To maintain our services' feasibility, we allow a product's replacement only under the following circumstances.

  • The customer can replace the product unit received within 7 days from delivery and get a replacement unit delivered to the customer.
  • Replacement can be made if the customer establishes that the product was delivered in defective condition or has physical damage within 24 hours of receipt of the product.
  • Replacement with a fresh box unit can be provided to the customer if the customer establishes that the product delivered is not functioning properly within 7 days from the date of delivery.
  • In case of receipt of damaged or defective items, please report the same to our website support team. The request will, however, be entertained once a Portronics team member has checked and determined the same at his end. This is typically reported back to the customer within 24 hours of receipt of the products by Portronics.
  • In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per the specifications, you must bring it to the notice of our website support team within 24 hours of receiving the product. After looking into your complaint, the website support team will make an appropriate decision.

A product will not be replaced under the following circumstances.

  • The customer is unhappy with the defect-free product's look/sound quality.
  • Physical damage if not notified within 24 hours of receiving the product.
  • An electrical surge or any damage caused by the user.

Please see that no return or refund shall be provided. However, the customer can replace the product unit received within 7 days from the date of delivery and get a replacement.


Cancellation Policy

We believe in helping our customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. However, under this policy -

  • Cancellations request will not be entertained if the orders have already been communicated to the customers and they have initiated the process of shipping them.
  • There is no cancellation of orders placed under the Same Day Delivery category.
  • No cancellations are entertained for those products that have been obtained on special occasions. (These are limited occasion offers and therefore cancellations are not possible.)


Refund Policy  

Refund will only be initiated when the company is unable to fulfill the placed order due to unforeseen circumstances. Under no circumstance other than this will the company be able to issue a refund.
